4 /5 Goo Yang [Peter]: 일단, 이 집의 하이볼이 달큰한게 맛이 좋았다. 고추장이 약간 들어간 고기 뜸뿍 넣어 끓인 된장찌개와 어릴적 간장에 마가린을 넣어 먹던 생각이 나게 하지만 그것과 비교 안될정도로 느끼 고소한 마늘밥이 좋았다. 양고기는 국내 5성급 호텔 이나 해외 파견중 중동에서 즐겨 먹던, 두툼하고 신선해서 맛좋있던 양고기, 그 맛이었다. 대파와 양파를 구워 먹었던것도 좋았다. 일본 훗카이도 지역을 여행한적이 있지만 칭기스칸 양고기 구이 먹어보어 보지 않아 비교 할순 없지만
이곳은 전체적으로 일본식 오마카세 식당처럼 주방을 바라보는 테이블과 와인을 함께 하며 즐길수 있다는좋았다. 전용 옷장과 인테리어는 과천스럽지 않은 세련된 분위기의 음식점이었다.
아쉬운점은 양고기 구이 자체가 손이 많이가고 직원들이 바쁘다는 것, 직원들이 아직 익숙치 않아 번잡해 여유가 없어보였다. 양고기는 기름이 많아 열을 가할때 승화?하여 연기후드에 온도차가 발생하여 검은 기름이 고기로 떨어지는 경우가 발생하였다. 나름 외국에서 질 좋은 양고기를 저렴하게 자주 먹을수 있었던 나에게는 다소 가격이 비싸게 느껴졌다. 요즘 물가가 살인적이니 이해는 간다.

First of all, the highball in this lamb BBQ restaurant was really delicious with a sweet taste. It reminded me of the childhood memories of eating soybean paste stew with lots of meat, which was boiled with a little bit of hot pepper paste, and the margarine I used to put in soy sauce when I was young. However, the garlic rice was even more delicious and rich than those memories. The lamb was of the same taste as the thick and fresh lamb that I used to enjoy in five-star hotels in Korea or on business trips to the Middle East. The grilled scallions and onions were also good.
Although I have traveled to Hokkaido, Japan, I cannot compare the taste to that of the Chinggis Khan lamb barbecue since I have never tried it. However, what I liked about this place was that it had tables facing the kitchen like a traditional Japanese omakase restaurant and you could enjoy wine with your meal. The interior was tastefully decorated without being too extravagant.
The downside was that the lamb barbecue itself required a lot of attention and the staff seemed busy and not yet accustomed to the work, making it look chaotic. When heated, the lamb released a lot of oil, which caused a temperature difference in the smoke hood and resulted in black oil dripping onto the meat. For someone like me who was able to frequently enjoy good quality lamb in foreign countries at a reasonable price, it felt a bit expensive. I understand that the cost of living is high these days, so its understandable.
Overall, I plan to revisit on a good day, along with a bottle of wine.
